I’ve been craving carob and glad the health food store ran out because you can buy it in bulk online (from a good company) for much, much less! Got my pound of Red Mill Carob Powder a few days ago and finally found some time to make this yummy breakfast smoothie!

Ingredients (makes 2 smoothies):
2-3 tablespoons of carob powder
2 fresh bananas
1 cup almond milk
1/2 teaspoon of almond extract
2 teaspoons (approx.) of honey
About 10 icecubes
Blend from low to high and remain on high for about 10 seconds. Adjust honey, carob to taste. I like mine with some sprouted grain toast and almond butter for breakfast!
Genius!

I give these soaps out every year for stocking stuffers. They are always a hit. It’s a one-women soap shop from Michigan where soap is made the old fashioned way with soy and other natural ingredients.
They seem too pretty to use but after you admire them, make sure to use them!
Very pretty, would love to spend a few days in the cabin near this lake!
